By far the richest experience of his career: a genuine entrepreneurial adventure, with its lessons, its highs and its lows.

The activity started in 2016 under the name Wild Dots, before being renamed Evo home in 2021. It grew out of a meeting with other partners, who were already carrying out corporate communications work. A real estate client, approached almost by chance, shifted the whole activity: the company gradually specialised in digital marketing for real estate — websites, imagery, video — then in digital consulting for developers, brokers and real estate groups. A web application was also developed to support buyers of off-plan properties throughout construction.

Within the team, roles were shared more by affinity than by fixed titles. Sandro Medina, by his own account, touched a bit of everything: sales, finance, project management, fundraising, business development. The team grew to about a dozen people, including a development team based in Ukraine, project managers, designers and 3D specialists.

Recognition across the Romandy market

Renamed Evo home, the company became a name known to most real estate players in French-speaking Switzerland, supporting hundreds of projects and clients such as Losinger Marazzi (the Swiss subsidiary of Bouygues). Several funding rounds were completed, with Sandro Medina playing a key role, and the company brought recognised partners into its capital on the Romandy market.

A genuine entrepreneurial experience, with all the ups and downs that come with it.

The highs and lows

This adventure also brought its share of difficulties — the kind found in any entrepreneurial adventure, and the kind specific to supporting a fast-growing company. After nine years, and several wins that were never quite enough to reach real scale, Sandro Medina chose to turn the page.
